GTA IV: Now With Glitter
Posted May 26th, 2009 in Articles, Events, News, Xbox 360, Xbox Live by Adam Robinson

Rockstar just announced the next downloadable Grand Theft Auto IV episode: The Ballad of Gay Tony. No, I didn’t just make that title up.
Players won’t take control of the titular character, however, but rather Luis Lopez. Players will guide Lopez on his duties for night club owner Tony “Gay Tony” Prince. Lord only knows what kind of misadventures Lopez will get into in the midst of Liberty City’s glitzy-but-dangerous night life.
We know this next episode will hit sometime in the Fall, but not the precise date. The episode will cost you $19.99 on the PC side of things, and 1600 MS Points on Xbox Live. So save your money, boys and girls, and get ready to be fabulous.

But think of the children!
This, of course, explains the name of the “Impossible Trinity” achievement, with Niko, Johnny (from The Lost and Damned), and Luis all being at the museum when the diamond deal goes sour.
WOW, JUST WOW…
Is a Christian site seriously going to promote this? If so, I’m ashamed.
@Vulture It’s just news, is CNN promoting rape when they report on it?
I’m not that offended, a gay character isn’t any worse than the characters you play in all the other GTA games, stealing, killing, sleeping with prostitutes…
That being said I won’t be playing, but I haven’t played any GTA.
You don’t play a gay character in this new expansion. Gay Tony is the guy you’ll be working for.
Keep in mind, folks, that you don’t play as Gay Tony. In fact, I’d bet my money that the character you do play as, Luis Lopez, turns on Gay Tony at some point.
And no, we’re not promoting it. Just passing the news along.
yeah I saw this…… thats one of the games thats used to be cool. like vice city, it was pushing the limit but now….GTA is a no show in my house. I just cant break down to but that or play it.
“So save your money, boys and girls, and get ready to be fabulous.”
To me, that sounds like you are promoting the game.
Why is it, Vulture, that you can’t ever seem to take things lightly? You always assume that when somebody says something, that they’re saying it to insult someone else. I know that you’re a moderator, but seriously, you just need to stop being such a tightwad.
As for the game…wow. I agree with Adam. Knowing GTA, something like Luis turning on Tony seems like a strong possibility.
What do you have against gay people vulture?
