Black Ops 2 on the Wii U?
Nothing is official yet but according to Eurogamer, scans from a Nintendo Gamer magazine were recently leaked. Apparently, these scans indicate that the blockbuster series is looking at a November release on the Wii U. It is important to note that no mention of a Wii U version of this year’s Call of Duty iteration was mentioned at E3 last week, and neither Nintendo nor Activision have made any announcements regarding a Wii U version of the highly anticipated title. I suppose that means this will have to sit firmly in the rumor category until the issue of Nintendo Gamer in question is released.
This one isn’t that hard to sort out. Activision has released Call of Duty titles on the Wii, which was even less powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3. Now that Nintendo is showcasing a system that can at least match the hardware of the 360 and PS3, chances are high that Activision will take advantage of it, especially if the online play has improved as much as Nintendo claims.
