1. On the whole bible conversation, Where you discussed whether the bible should be interpreted openly or not, you guys pretty much came to the conclusion that it would be best to study the bible and when having difficulties, refer to a biblical scholar.
   I was just wondering, how would you decide who was the right biblical scholar to follow? There are many out there who would call themselves biblical scholars and may have even gotten a degree from a university, but they end up contradicting each other on what a particular passage might mean. To me, at least, the problem boils down to where are the biblical scholars one may refer deriving their authority to comment on The Scriptures?
