Yes, you read right! Portal is currently free right now for PC and Mac (sorry console people, you can pick up a used copy of The Orange Box for cheap).
I just heard that Steam is now available for the Mac, so I jumped over to their site here and checked it out. I then stumbled upon a very large advert saying that my former love from 3 years ago is now free to own on my Macbook Pro.
I’ll be very new to gaming without a controller, but I just couldn’t pass up free!

Just restart Steam and try again. The servers are being attacked by hundreds of thousands downloading the same game.

Can’t run on my computer…
I see that it’s free until May 24th. After that do we have to pay to continue to play it or does the free game offer end on the 24th. I’ve looked around on stream and haven’t found a clear answer to this.
