Looks like you’ll be playing undercover with the terrorists… maybe?
i dunno about being undercover. it seems to me that its going to be like rb6 where u r doing some cqb or battles in highly populated areas
I was thinking the terrorist thing too. but more along the lines of, there is an attack on the U.S. and you got to go in and take out the root of the attack before the nuke goes off in Washington.
It maybe a continuation of the previous story. or another side of it.
it does sound like a new set of weapons and environment. Im stoked already. its coming out a month earlier then originaly anticipated. Nice
I’m a little less excited now. It reminded me too much of a game like RB6. The trailer gave me the impression of a terrorist attack in an airport. Maybe there will be some twists, didn’t one of the say “remember, you’re supposed to be Russian”?
As long as the grenades don’t float around in zero gravity to their destination I’ll be happy

It sounds like they are in an eastern country. We will just have to wait and see.
What I got out of it is that Infinity Ward is doing a Marvel tie-in. You get to play as Daredevil.

My theory is a terrorist attack on America. I bet the terrorists in this teaser were going in to some major government HQ and taking people hostage, or just massacring them all…just my guess.
I just watched the trailer again, and yes, they could have said “no rushing.” Did anyone else get the impression that that was Keifer Sutherland’s voice again?
EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO TO MODERNWARFARE2.COM you can analyze the clip. i found that when they are in the airport, you can see pix of perks right above the security sign on the right. there are 5. 1st is stopping power. second is new. it is a foot with wings on the back like the goodyear logo. probably a new logo for extreme conditioning. third is two knives making an X shape. dual wield knives? fourth is an arrow pointing down at a circle. i have no idea what it could be. the last is just a plain arrow pointing down. no idea what that one is either.

Do you think the style meant anything? Or do you think we might get some special sonar vision, ala The Dark Knight?

I thought basically the same thing, “terroist” involvement. Hearing what sounded like civilian screams and what not. The one comment similarity to Rainbow 6. I loved that game, so a combonation of the two would be incredible. COuld you imagine Terrorist Hunt but utilizing Infinty Wards Garphics and game play and maps? Sweet….
I think no matter what, IW is going to go out of their way to add upon their formula of awesomeness. New game play elements, possibly having civilians involved, definitely new perks, weapons etc. I have already reserved my copy from the awesome dream games of the future that I have to have reservation program!
Yeah, I was thinking terrorist attack on the US but we will wait and see. It comes out just before my daughters 1st b-day so I know what she is getting…:).
