This game will no doubt be mentioned 100 times, so I’m glad I’m the first poster!
CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2
Is there any doubt this game is one of, if not THE BEST First-Person Shooter in the history of Xbox? Well for me, it started out as an experiment to check out Xbox Live. Well, it started with Call of Duty 4 to be specific. I started out on the Xbox with a few various games, primarily loving the Splinter Cell series; but I had not yet gotten online. The idiot that I am, I didn’t even know you could plug right in and get going…so I put it off, enjoying the excitement of the campaigns. 2 years ago, after a snide comment from my brother, I got myself a 30 day trial for Live, and went up to Blockbuster to find a good game. I spoke to a chubby young man there and asked him what the best online experience would be. I shutter to think of what I might be playing right now, had he not said “Call of Duty 4 is pretty popular”. Not knowing any better I brought the game home. *sigh*
Since then I have not been able to play anything else. I tried…Oh, I tried. I bought a couple of various games and even got a PS3 for Christmas last year. But no…I couldn’t play anything longer than 15 minutes without feeling this intense desire to hold my M4 and take out some snotty kids. This ended in November when the ONLY game that could have possibly changed my mind surfaced. MW2.
So here we are. The best graphics, the smoothest movements, the most advanced weapons, and a mammoth box of Fun Dip.
B
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 baby!!
I’m loving the Call of Duty games. Modern Warfare is my favorite thus far.
It is a 3 way tie amongst Halo, COD, and Borderlands.
Halo was great, my first love on xbox. CODs are great and conquered my love of Halo… but… My favorite FPS of all time is Delta Force for PC. It’s the game that got me started in fps.
Time splitters was pretty amazing
Halo 3. I don’t play it as much right now but it’s the game you can ALWAYS go back to. Sure MW2 is sucking up more time right now but the thing with Halo is it lasts.
The Call of Duty games are probably my favorite fps games.
Far Cry 2 for the awesome Map Creator and i found myself just walking around and staring at the environment and watching the wild life ….. just is soooo awesome
Doom started it for me, Delta Force series was great for it’s time on the PC. Now days it’s the COD franchise all the way with a Halo honorable mention.
Have you ever heard of the game medal of honor frontline. I remember one of the missions where you get to disguise as a German officer and you had to go without firing on that level. This is what happens your in a bar in germany you have to walk threw the room without being cought you go up stairs and that leads to outside. When you go upstairs your on a little balcony on that balcony is two german officers talking about the war. then you look over the side and under that one is two german officers talking about the war as well now this is a bar so on the ledge of the balcony you see a beer glass. You take the beer glass and throw it on the ones under the side and they start getting mad thinking its the germans that we’re ontop a fight breaks out between those four guys and you steal a car from one of those four and they find out your a spy. it ends with you racing threw germany trying to get out. But anyway has to be my favorite levels and FPS games.
well i would have to say Call Of Duty 4
It has to be any Halo game, I dont like it right now but I know that when reach comes out ill be playing it for a long time.
I played Halo3 for way to long, nearly 3000 games thats like 30,000mins+ of thats over 20days of gameplay and just online and on my account, I spent a year offline with that game and thats only Halo3!!! Wow im sad.
I mean the COD games were good but I spent maybe 3daymax on them, before I was completely bored, but I played halo last night and I loved it we lost but I was the only one my team with +kd and I was happy with that. Halo will always be a great game in many years to come, ill still love the games.
Has to be Wolfenstein, PC version. It’s the game that started it all. And besides who doesn’t like to get the chance to shoot Hitler.
Modern Warfare 2 for XBox 360, but I love Halflife 2 for PC too.
I’ve got to say, It’s GoldenEye. I’m sure it doesn’t hold up to the test of time, but my buddies and I played soooo much GoldenEye in high school and college, it will never leave that warm place in my heart.
I’m right there with ya on that one. Goldeneye will always have a spot in my top favorite games of all time. So many fun memories.
Bioshock, most definitely! The boss battles with the Big Daddies, the deep story, and the amazing graphics all add up to one great game for shooter fans and non shooter fans alike. Plus, I’ve yet to experience a better partner in a video game than I have with the security bots. The fights with the Big Daddies are just puzzles that our fun to figure out and use different Plasmids on. Everyone should play this game.
I’d have to go with either Borderlands or Call of Duty 4.
Oblivion archer ^_^, rocking my arrows ftw.
MY favorite wold have to be Bioshock it was an amazing game with part FPS and half rpg which is awesome
Call of Duty 4 > Modern Warfare 2
Cod 4 was better than mw2, i think so..
My fav wold be GoldenEye on Nintendo 64, 4 player split-screen we had hours and hours of fun
I got Borderlands simply based on a friends recommendation and I have to say that I am really enjoying this game.
Call of Duty United Offensive, that was an awesome game back in the day!
