Portal is FREE!!

Yes, you read right! Portal is currently free right now for PC and Mac (sorry console people, you can pick up a used copy of The Orange Box for cheap).

I just heard that Steam is now available for the Mac, so I jumped over to their site here and checked it out. I then stumbled upon a very large advert saying that my former love from 3 years ago is now free to own on my Macbook Pro.

I’ll be very new to gaming without a controller, but I just couldn’t pass up free!

Go and check it out here!

Have fun!

Twitter Officially Everywhere

Twitter users can “tweet” about their daily chores, musings, rants, recommendations, interesting internet finds, and so much more. They can do so via the Twitter site, desktop programs, and phone apps. Now, World of Warcraft addicts can add TweetCraft to that list.

TweetCraft is a Twitter client used by WoW players in-game to update their Twitter status, keep in touch with followers’ updates, tweet WoW screenshots, and auto-update log-ins, achievements, and instance runs. Below is a video demonstrating how TweetCraft works.

Now, Twitter has truly invaded every aspect of social networking—and nerddom, too. I wonder what they’ll think of next for Twitter updating. Perhaps tweeting via smoke signal?
